Of special note are the watercolors and oil paintings titled “Wounded Knee / The Painted Spirit” and “Wounded Knee / Earth and Sky”. This is an ongoing series that I started in 2001. Presently in my studio I am working on an addition to the “Wounded Knee” series. This new painting is also large, measuring 20′X 8′ and deals with the Ghost Dance. My Best John Thein
