Update

Thank you for visiting my web site. I want to tell you that this last winter I was a part of a large exhibition at the Leedy-Voulkos Gallery in Kansas City from November 2009 till the beginning of February 2010. The title of the exhibition was “Witness: Perspectives on War”. I exhibited one of my new paintings on Wounded Knee titled “Wounded Knee/ Earth and Sky”, which measures 19’6″ wide and 9’6″ high. It was a great exhibition with an incredible size audience.

This September I will have a two person exhibition at the Jackson Art Works in Omaha. The exhibition will give me my first opportunity to exhibit together all three of my new large painting on Wounded Knee. This last one is still in my studio and growing in size. I hope you will be able to see the exhibition which will open Saturday, August 28, 2010.

After the exhibition at the Jackson Art Works the entire exhibition of “Wounded Knee / The Painted Spirit”, with the three new paintings I just mentioned, will then be crated and shipped to China. I have been invited to exhibit this series of paintings at the Nanjing Art Institute in Nanjing China. The Nanjing Art Institute is the oldest and larges Art school in China, with over 10,000 Art Students. I will also be lecturing/teaching Life Drawing while their. I look forward to having my painting and the history they represent be seen in China.

Until next time.
